School-Based Occupational Therapist - Multiple Positions Available

Location: Walled Lake, MI and Surrounding Areas
Start/End Date: 2026-2027 School Year
Grade Levels: Multiple grade levels and school settings available
Compensation: Full-time positions offer an annualized salary of $57,500-$75,000, while part-time positions are paid hourly. Both full-time and part-time positions are W-2 employment with weekly pay. Final compensation is based on experience and qualifications.

As an Occupational Therapist with AnthroMed, you’ll be part of a team dedicated to supporting student success and personal growth.

We are partnering with schools throughout the Walled Lake area to fill multiple Occupational Therapist positions for the 2026-2027 school year. Opportunities vary by school, grade level, and student population, with both full-time and part-time positions available.

 

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services based on the assigned position’s schedule and caseload. Full-time positions follow a Monday-Friday schedule, while part-time positions may offer some scheduling flexibility.
• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized educational plans (IEPs), and implement evidence-based interventions to address students’ fine motor and sensory regulation needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support students’ skills across individual, small-group, and classroom settings, as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
• Manage IEP documentation, service tracking, and compliance within the district’s designated IEP system.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities.
• Utilize designated therapy spaces for student sessions, documentation, and planning, as available within the assigned school setting.

 

Qualifications

• Certification as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Michigan.
• Previous experience working with children or in a school-based setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration skills, and a passion for working with diverse student populations.
