Job Summary
MRI Technologist in a healthcare facility located in Louisville. This position involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans with a focus on neuro patients, including spine, strokes, and head traumas, in an acute inpatient setting. The role requires supporting both department operations and patient care, with potential flexibility for solo shifts depending on staffing needs.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification; ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification or ARRT (MR) certification; Kentucky state license preferred; experience with heavy neuro patients, including spine, strokes, and head traumas; acute inpatient care experience; one year of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system; familiarity with Siemens Sola and Verio MRI equipment; soft skills such as excellent patient care and a positive attitude.
• Additional Information: Support within the department includes radiologists available 24/7 and other MRI technologists; orientation typically lasts two weeks; weekend and holiday rotations based on unit needs; no on-call responsibilities.
• Technology/Equipment: Experience with Cerner EMR preferred; Siemens Sola and Verio MRI systems used.
• Floating: No floating required.
• Attire: Scrub color designated as Ceil Blue.
• Parking: Free, badge access parking lot.
