CAD Designer

Our client, a leader in the technology and hardware development industry, is seeking a CAD Designer to join their team. As a CAD Designer, you will be part of the Hardware Development Department supporting the Computer Aided Design team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: CAD Designer Location: Albany, New York What's the Job? Design, develop, and test hardware components using advanced CAD tools and methodologies. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure design specifications are met and integrated seamlessly. Utilize industry-standard tools such as Synopsys ICValidator, KLayout, Cadence Virtuoso, and Siemens Mentor Calibre for design validation. Develop scripts and automation processes to streamline design workflows and improve efficiency. Support the development of high-quality hardware decks aligned with project requirements and deadlines. What's Needed? Proficiency in EDA automation, scripting, and relevant design tools. Experience with coding languages such as PxL, SVRF, Python, and SKILL. Strong understanding of hardware design principles and verification processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and precision.
