Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a highly qualified CT Technologist in Michigan. This role involves coordinating and performing computerized tomography (CT) scanning procedures, ensuring quality imaging, safety, and patient care according to departmental standards. The position requires technical expertise in operating advanced imaging equipment and providing exceptional patient service.

Job Details:

• Position: CT Technologist
• Location: Michigan
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 2 years of CT experience, Michigan license verification (LARA and Nursys if applicable).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Phillips imaging equipment, traveler experience preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Coordinates and participates in all computerized tomography procedures.
  • Sets up, monitors, and operates complex CT equipment for diagnostic purposes.
  • Transfers and positions patients utilizing proper safety and lifting techniques.
  • Applies immobilization devices and provides patient identification.
  • Prepares and administers contrast media intravenously as per protocol.
  • Makes and develops images, records all studies for future reference, and ensures image quality.
  • Maintains calibration and quality control of equipment daily.
  • Monitors patients for allergic reactions and responds accordingly, including providing basic CPR in emergencies.
  • Follows safety standards and maintains a clean working environment.
  • Assists radiologists and physicians with specialized procedures.
  • Participates in quality assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Availability to work every other weekend is possible.
