Interstate Waste Services seeks a Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair a modern fleet of refuse trucks and automotive equipment in our Automotive department. Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and suspensions; performing preventative maintenance and DOT inspections; completing accurate repair documentation; and ensuring all work meets safety and environmental standards. You’ll collaborate with drivers and supervisors to minimize downtime and keep routes running safely and on schedule. We offer stable, full-time work, ongoing training, and a safety-first, team-focused culture serving local communities.
