JOB SUMMARY Certified Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Tech needed for operating room support. Key Responsibilities Assist surgeons and surgical teams during cardiovascular procedures. Prepare and maintain the sterile surgical environment. Handle instruments, equipment, and supplies during surgery. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team. Ensure all equipment functions properly. Maintain accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments. Adhere to sterile technique and infection control protocols. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician program. Certification as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician (CVORT). Certifications Certified Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician (CVORT). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience Previous experience as a CVOR Tech is preferred. Skills Proficient in sterile technique. Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology. Familiarity with surgical instruments and equipment used in CVOR procedures.
