This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those we serve while building a fulfilling career.This is a part-time position will average 8-16 hours per week.Essential functions include:Provide patient counseling on hearing health and assistive devicesFit, dispense, and maintain hearing aids and other assistive devicesDocument patient information and progress in electronic medical recordsCommunicate with other healthcare professionals regarding patient careStay current on industry developments and advancements in technologyQualifications – Required:Experience working in audiology or a related healthcare field.Certification from a recognized body like the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences (NBC-HIS).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using audiometric equipment.Ability to stay updated on the latest hearing aid technology and advancements.Experience in sales or customer service.Comfort with administrative and record-keeping tasks.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Audiology or Hearing Instrument ScienceState license in Audiology or Hearing Instrument DispensingMinimum of two years of experience in a clinical settingStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFamiliarity with electronic medical records and hearing aid technologyPhysical demand/work environment:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
