Medical ReceptionistTakoma Park, Maryland Pay From: $20 per hourMUST: Experienced Medical Receptionist 2 plus years of experience as a Medical Receptionist Must speak Spanish and English Must have experience verifying insurance Must have strong experience handling prior authorizations Must have strong patient registration experience Must have experience work on EMR; knowledge of Epic highly preferredDUTIES: Medical Receptionist will be responsible for but not limited to the following:Prepare medical recordsRoom patientsProvide clinical helpWelcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiriesOptimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephoneKeeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delaysComforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception areaEnsures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient recordsMaintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial informationPerform data entry and processingSchedule appointmentsMaintain medical records*Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
