Real Estate Associate

James Bates Brannan Groover, LLP (JBBG) is seeking an associate to join its Real Estate Practice Group in the Atlanta office.

Our real estate group handles a broad range of matters, including commercial and multi-family transactions, construction lending, and government-guaranteed loans (SBA and USDA).

As an associate, you will gain hands-on experience across all phases of real estate transactions. Responsibilities include:

• Drafting and reviewing loan documents, leases, and other transaction agreements
• Supporting due diligence and managing closing processes
• Assisting with zoning, land use, and title matters
• Working directly with clients, including lenders, developers, and investors

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant commercial real estate experience
• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and closing documents for commercial real estate transactions
• Familiarity with title, survey review, and managing transaction closings
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated interest in continuing to develop and expand within a commercial real estate practice
• Admitted to the Georgia Bar and in good standing, or admitted in another state and eligible and willing to seek admission in Georgia
