About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45-19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Current RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC Must-Have: 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting. Experience in a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department. Description: The position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department. The department is known for its teamwork and welcoming personality. Staff members serve a diverse community with numerous languages spoken. Patient ratios typically range from 4:1 to 7:1 for behavioral holds. Unit staffing includes available technicians and clerks. Documentation is carried out using a specified system. Certifications such as ACLS and BLS are required prior to starting. Additional training and certifications must be completed upon hire. This role offers an opportunity to work in a high-volume Emergency Department with approximately 100,000 visits annually. Staff are expected to demonstrate respectful behavior and maintain patient experience standards. The position aims to foster a positive impact within the community through exemplary patient care.
