Responsibilities
- Architect and launch end-to-end governance workflows for risk identification, review, acceptance, mitigation, and ongoing monitoring
- Establish clear roles and responsibilities for risk owners, reviewers, and governance teams
- Develop and document escalation and reporting protocols for high-risk and accepted risks
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions across business, technology, security, and governance functions to validate and socialize risk requirements
- Facilitate workshops to introduce and operationalize the risk register and governance processes
- Onboard initial risks into the enterprise risk register, ensuring comprehensive coverage
- Produce audit-ready documentation including risk register structure, scoring methodology, and decision authority matrices
- Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to empower security staff for sustainable risk management post-engagement
- Provide standardized deliverables: risk register framework, scoring/prioritization model, governance model, initial risk population, and final documentation package
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 8 years in Risk Register Design and Framework development
- 8+ years' experience designing and implementing Risk Scoring and Prioritization Models
- Proven track record with Governance Processes and Workflow design
- Deep experience in stakeholder engagement and enablement within enterprise environments
- Exceptional documentation skills and ability to conduct effective knowledge transfer
Preferred Skills
- Advanced certifications in cybersecurity risk management (e.g., CRISC, CISSP)
- Experience within regulated industries or large-scale enterprise environments
- Familiarity with leading GRC tools and platforms
