Our Store Team Leaders (STL) are single-unit retail leaders responsible for guiding their team to achieve operational and service excellence. The STL will manage, inspire and coach direct reports, including Front Store (FS) crew and FS management roles, communicate effectively, apply SOPs and best practices consistently, and support all departments with scheduling aligned to business needs. The STL demonstrates CVS Health\'s Heart At Work behaviors and leads the team to do the same. Primary Roles and Responsibilities To successfully operate a retail location, the Store Team Leader is responsible for: Cultivate and maintain a healthy talent pipeline, including oversight of front store and cross-trained colleague performance and development, contributing to career progression, involving hiring, training, performance management, and, where required, termination of employment Ensure appropriate staffing to operate the store by scheduling to demand, publish the schedule 3 weeks in advance, and maintain financial stewardship of store labor spending Improve store performance measures (sales, service, loyalty, shrink, compliance, etc.) by coaching colleagues and working within the One Team dynamic to address barriers to operation Maintain a safe and high-quality working environment that complies with all regulatory and company standards Oversee timely and quality training of front store and cross-trained colleagues Conduct regular check-ins with all direct reports to track business goals and maintain team engagement Maintain strong working relationships with Rx DL, Pharmacy Manager, pharmacy team and other in-store teams to foster a One Team mentality and support a holistic total store staffing pipeline Partner with FS DL to establish store priorities, implement new initiatives, and engage all colleagues Act as an ambassador for CVS Health through professional behaviors and positive engagement within the community Education High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) Required Qualifications Must be 18 years of age Completion of all required training for current role within required timeframe High school diploma or GED 1-3 years of prior relevant work experience Work flexible schedules including early morning and evening shifts according to store needs and operating hours; two closing shifts per week and four weekend shifts per month are required at a minimum Lift and exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects to and from, including overhead lifting Ability to stand and walk for an extended amount of time Preferred Qualifications Pharmacy Technician Licensure Bachelor\'s degree Anticipated Weekly Hours 47.5 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $30.28 - $50.48. This range represents base pay for all positions in the job grade. Actual base salary offers depend on factors such as experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position may be eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range. Our people fuel our future.
