This role involves working night shifts for 13 weeks. Nurses will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 6. Block scheduling is available upon request. Candidates should have experience accessing and managing ports. Familiarity with BiPAP/CPAP management is preferred. Blood product administration experience is required. Nurses should be skilled in central line blood draws and chest tube management. Colostomy and ileostomy care management experience is essential. Candidates should be familiar with codes for cerebrovascular accidents. Experience in feeding tube care and management is needed. Knowledge of heparin administration and high flow nasal cannula usage is necessary. Ability to interpret arterial blood gases is required. Candidates must be able to interpret dysrhythmias. Experience with isolation precautions and PPE is necessary. Knowledge of IV insulin protocols is essential. Nurses will manage dysrhythmias and handle Med/Surg and telemetry patients. Experience with nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management is necessary. Oral suctioning and oxygen administration skills are required. Candidates should be proficient in PCA management and peripheral line care. Phlebotomy skills are mandatory. Experience managing PICC lines is required. Knowledge in pre/post hemodialysis management is necessary. Candidates should have experience in pre/post neurosurgery care. Experience in renal failure management is essential. Knowledge of managing spinal cord injuries is preferred. Ability to start and maintain IVs is required. Experience with surgical drains and telemetry monitoring is essential. Candidates must be skilled in tracheostomy care and management. Experience with traumatic brain injury is preferred. Ability to utilize rapid response and code teams is necessary. Wound care and wound vac experience is required. The role involves interdisciplinary support collaboration and patient care. Daily census will be approximately 20 patients in a 24-bed unit. Candidates should be capable of providing comprehensive care to adults and geriatrics.
