Mechanical Engineer PE Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Locations: Birmingham, AL; Orlando, FL; Salt Lake City, UT; Dallas, TX (relocation assistance available) Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite (Flexible Schedule Available) Travel: 5–10% (Local travel; mileage and expenses reimbursed) Overview The Mechanical Engineer PE is responsible for the design, analysis, and improvement of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems. This role supports MEP projects from design through implementation, including developing engineering drawings, evaluating existing systems, and providing technical support in the field. Responsibilities Design and develop commercial HVAC and mechanical systems. Create and draft engineering plans and drawings using Revit. Analyze and evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements or modifications. Perform engineering calculations and technical analyses to support project design. Visit project sites to evaluate existing conditions and support project implementation. Manage assigned projects and coordinate with internal teams, clients, and other project stakeholders. Prepare, review, sign, and seal engineering documents. Troubleshoot complex engineering issues and provide technical solutions. Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) License required Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field. 4+ years of MEP design experience for commercial HVAC and mechanical systems. Design experience supporting commercial MEP infrastructure projects. Proficiency with Revit. Experience designing and drafting blueprints and engineering drawings. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
