The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician. The LPN supports patient treatment plans, monitors patient conditions, administers medications, and contributes to a safe and supportive environment for patients and families. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and hospital policies Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care Monitor patient vital signs and report changes in patient condition to the supervising RN or physician Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record Provide patient and family education related to treatment plans and care instructions Maintain infection prevention and patient safety practices Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support quality patient outcomes Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines Support a culture of compassion, safety, and teamwork Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program Licensure/Certifications Current Mississippi Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Compact State license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Experience One (1) year of clinical nursing experience preferred Experience in acute care, long-term care, or clinic settings preferred What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Company Paid Basic Life/AD&D Insurance & Long-Term Disability Insurance Retirement plan options Generous personal time off (PTO) pay schedule Supportive, friendly work environment with opportunities for professional development and growth The opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of our patients Be a Part of Something Bigger!
