Job Description Dice is the leading career destination for tech experts. Our client, PTR Global, is seeking an experienced software engineer for IT Asset Management. Responsibilities Develop end‑to‑end web applications and services that support IT Asset Management. Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality, scalable, and robust full‑stack applications using Angular and Java. Leverage deep knowledge of technology infrastructure (Linux, virtualization, containers, etc.) to inform software design and development. Build solutions that automate IT Asset Management, improving efficiency and reliability. Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new technologies. Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver on the product roadmap. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence. Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code. Anticipate, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in both front‑end and back‑end code. Ensure software is designed with security, data integrity, and performance in mind. Required Qualifications 3–5 years of hands‑on experience as a Full‑Stack Developer. Proficiency in Angular and Java with a deep understanding of the technology stack. 3–5 years in a technology infrastructure role such as DBA, Windows/Unix Administrator, Storage, Messaging, or Network Administrator. Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies. Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps. Contributions to open‑source projects. Experience in financial services (nice to have). Location Woodbridge Township, New Jersey. On‑site work required with no remote or hybrid options specified.
