Community Engagement Lead

To strengthen community trust and collaboration, the full-time remote Community Engagement Lead will design and implement strategic engagement programs while guiding a team of professionals and working cross-functionally with various internal teams. Key responsibilities Design and execute community outreach and stakeholder management strategies throughout project lifecycles Cultivate long-term relationships with local officials and community stakeholders, representing the organization at public events Partner with internal teams to align community insights with project execution and mitigate local risks Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in public affairs, communications, environmental studies, or a related field (advanced degree preferred) 8+ years of experience in public affairs, communications, or community engagement within utility-scale power or energy infrastructure 3+ years of experience managing direct reports and developing high-performing teams Demonstrated experience with Texas projects and familiarity with rural community dynamics Proficiency in stakeholder analysis and mapping tools to assess local impact and risks
