Registered Dental Hygienist

FUN , upbeat , privately owned dental practice, Highland Dental Group is looking for that right Registered Dental Hygienist to complete the team! This position would be full-time: Monday-Thursday 8-5 pm and Friday 8-1 pm. Highland Dental strives to provide the upmost care for our patients, while maintaining a fun, close-knit work environment. The ideal candidate must be/have : Team oriented Professional in behavior and appearance Self-motivated and encouraging the long-term growth of the business The desire to build strong relationships with their patients and employees Able to multi-task Detail Oriented Able to have fun at team outings Responsibilities: Provide preventive and rehabilitative caries control and periodontal services, as assigned by the treatment plan Provide routine prophylaxis and topical application to all eligible patients Provide scaling when calculus is present Provide root planning when tooth surface is rough Polish restorations Use local anesthetic for procedures when a licensed dentist is present Chart all existing caries and restorations, missing teeth, and prostheses Indicate all pockets over 3mm Perform complete head and neck exams, including soft tissue pathology Properly expose oral radiographs Provide oral health education Bring to the attention of all patients and/or guardians the benefits of fluoride in all forms Qualifications: Possession of a valid Missouri RDH license Ability to relate well with patients and other healthcare personnel Ability to work under pressure Paid vacation 401k with company match Monthly Bonus plan Health Insurance Aflac Job Type: Full-time Pay: $41.95 – $44.23 per hour 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Holidays Monday to Friday License/Certification: Klein Dental Group is an equal opportunity employer, access, and affirmative action employer.
