MS NOW is looking for an experienced Associate Producer for The Beat with Ari Melber. Responsibilities Straight cut video and work with editors on cutting compelling video Assist producers with desktop editing for television and digital content Assist with the editing and posting of segments, show-cast & other content across multiple MS NOW platforms Gathering elements Viewing all video to ensure quality before air Assist Segment Producers with research & production Work on content for the show’s digital platforms, social media and MS NOW’s DTC products Qualifications Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Must have at least 2 years’ production experience Must be proficient with Desktop editing Proficient editing with Avid, Adobe Premiere Experience producing compelling visual stories with graphics, video and sound Knowledge of and experience with producing content for digital & social media platforms Thorough knowledge of current events, US politics, geopolitics, foreign policy and history Must be willing to work in New York, NY. Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news.
