Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide specialized patient care in an inpatient acute care setting. The nurse will deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to oncology patients while adhering to safety and clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
• Document patient information thoroughly in charting system, using Paragon.
• Maintain a safe environment, ensuring infection control and safety standards are met.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs without exceeding ratios of 1:5-6 patients.

Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee or compact state nursing license required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Medical Surgical or Oncology nursing.
• BLS certification required prior to start.
• Ability to work night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Experience with inpatient acute care settings preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
