Franchise Information This role is in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald’s logos and products. The franchisee is the sole employer and is responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald’s USA does not participate in employment decisions. Job Overview Shift Manager – Lead shifts, ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience, and maintain quality, service and cleanliness. Provide leadership to crew and other managers, meet targets, monitor safety, security and profitability, and communicate with the next Shift Manager for smooth transition. Responsibilities Food safety and quality management Internal communication with crew and management Inventory management Daily maintenance and cleanliness Manage crew, including scheduling and training Ensure exceptional customer service Maintain safety and security standards Meet shift targets and support department goals Qualifications Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally in a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. Must be 18 years or older. Positive team player with a flexible schedule and passion for a fast‑paced environment.
