Role Join our creative, collaborative Book Publicity Team as a Publicity Assistant, training directly with experienced pros, including the department Manager. You’ll learn every step of the book publicity process, from initial strategy to media outreach and campaign execution. This is a crucial support role within a fast-paced, high-impact department. What You'll Do Use HubSpot to process book projects from one step to the next Create promotional materials using Canva, Google Drive, and HubSpot, including graphics and marketing emails Submit books to various literary awards Submit books to various literary reviewers Manage Amazon advertising campaigns Proofreading authors' non-book materials for submission to external outlets Pitching books to individual outlets Doing phone calls with authors about publicity efforts What We're Looking For Experience in book publicity and project management Expert-level experience with HubSpot or another comparable CRM Exceptional writing skills and a literary sensibility An accountable, friendly, patient, good-natured, and hard-working demeanor Why You'll Love Working With Us Hourly Rate: $20-$24/hour Hours: 15-20 hours per week to start, with the potential for more Reports to: McKenzie Nabi, Publicity Manager Start Date: Immediately Location: Remote 1099 status and no in-office requirements Significant growth opportunity — we promote from within, and reward initiative and star players Work with a creative, mission-driven team that values authors and their stories Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Atmosphere Press by 2x Seniority level Entry level Employment type Part-time Job function Marketing, Public Relations, and Writing/Editing Industries Book and Periodical Publishing #J-18808-Ljbffr Atmosphere Press
