About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience License: Pending NM/Compact license accepted (must be obtained prior to start) Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS Must-Have: Cath Lab experience Ability to take call for STEMI or Vascular Description: 36-hour Days Call requirement of 8-12 days per month. Accepting travelers with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census ranges from 20-30 patients. The unit is supported by interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy. Procedures performed include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations. Skills required include monitoring procedural sedation and managing dysrhythmias. Travelers may be required to float to similar units based on facility needs. Travelers will receive a brief orientation upon arrival. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.
