Law Clerk (New Bar Admittee)

Law Clerk Strategic Legal Practices is seeking a driven and detail-oriented law clerk to join our litigation team. This role is specifically designed for recent law school graduates who have passed the California Bar. Whether you passed last cycle or are awaiting your swear-in, we want to hear from you. This is a hands-on opportunity to develop real litigation skills alongside experienced attorneys at one of California's largest consumer protection firms, with a clear path toward attorney-level responsibilities. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Conduct initial case assessments and factual investigations Draft legal documents including complaints, declarations, discovery requests and responses, and other pleadings Gather and analyze statutes, case law, legal articles, court opinions, and other relevant data Investigate facts and search public records and other resources Assemble case materials by collecting, organizing, and summarizing documents, reports, and evidence Assist with preparation, filing, and service of pleadings in State and Federal Courts, including e-filing Format and finalize legal documents as directed Create Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities Assist in deposition and trial preparation Prepare trial briefs, exhibits, subpoenas, evidence summaries, and motions Provide support before and during court proceedings Calendar and track all case deadlines Organize and maintain client files Communicate professionally with clients, court clerks, and opposing counsel Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain the highest ethical standards at all times Perform other legal, administrative, and special projects as assigned
