Position Details, Requirements, and Benefits

• Provide night and weekend coverage for all admitted inpatients, including both critical and non-critical cases.
• Candidates must possess a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and hold NCCPA Board Certification.
• The typical patient load ranges from 2 to 5 patients, with an average of 1.5 overnight admissions.
• Applicants should be adept at managing hospitalized pediatric and young adult patients, including administering fluids, antibiotics, pain and sedation management, vasopressor medications, and basic stabilization for patients experiencing shock or respiratory distress.
• 24/7 access to a Pediatric Intensivist and a Trauma/Critical Care Burn Surgeon will be available for support.
• Work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide preventive, acute, specialized, and primary care services.
