Job Location Shelton, CT 06484 Volunteer with Hospice Patients A hospice volunteer is someone who wants to make a difference. Our volunteers help by bringing joy to patients and families, offering companionship and a warm presence, among many other things. The rewards of hospice volunteering are meaningful and powerful, enriching ourselves as we provide presence to others. We offer comprehensive online training that is uplifting, informative, and can be done at your own pace. A few hours each month can make a big difference. Visits are made at your convenience. Requirements 18 years or older 1-2 hours per week One‑year commitment requested Online training takes approximately 15 hours focused on personal death awareness and hospice philosophy No close death in the past year Why Constellation Family‑Centered Culture: At Constellation, we treat our team members like family.
