Accounting Clerk - Now Hiring

Leverage your precision for financial data integrity and secure high-value short-term contracts! We are urgently hiring detail-focused accounting clerks. Secure immediate contract income and consistent pay by focusing on tasks that ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and sub-ledgers. This role is ideal for experienced clerks seeking project-based variety.

Your responsibilities:

- Assist in auditing financial documents, transaction entries, and coding to ensure compliance with internal controls and generally accepted accounting principles (gaap).
- Perform periodic account reconciliation (e.g., petty cash, bank statements, intercompany accounts), investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Generate basic financial reports from the general ledger to support month-end closing activities.
- Manage and organize financial documentation, ensuring records are easily retrievable for audits.
- Observe and report on any opportunities to improve efficiency or accuracy in the daily transaction process.
