Food Production Quality Control

Job Overview We are hiring immediately for a Quality Control specilaist to join an amazing team who is currently growing and preparing for the opening of their second location. This position will be responisble for record keeping data, monitor GMP and USDA compliance. Salary: $17 - $18 per hour Shift: Third Work Hours: 11 PM - 7:30 AM Education: No Degree Required Responsibilities Walk production lines to confirm GMP compliance Monitor and log variables such as cooking/freezing temperatures, metal detectors, product weights, and overall product quality Calibrate production tools such as thermometers, scales, and any necessary equipment on a daily basis Must have the ability to communicate firmly yet respectfully with supervisors, production operators and coworkers Frequent standing and ability to work in vairable temperatures such a cold refrigerated area and warm kitchen areas during shift Accurate and honest record keeping of data Attention to detail, ability to detect visual, olfactory or textural anomalies in food products Essential Functions wearing steel toe shoes working in a non-temperature controlled environment working weekends Skills Quality Control Product Inspection Production Control Testing Monitoring Sampling Qualifications Years of experience: 0 years Experience level: Entry Level Randstad offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: medical, prescription, dental, vision, AD&D, and life insurance offerings, short-term disability, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).
