Job Summary

ATS is hiring a full‑time Resident Level II MT/PT/UTT Technician in Beaumont, TX / Orange, TX. 40 hours per week with occasional overtime. Must be local or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Perform examinations of materials according to procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
• Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which you are qualified and exercise assigned responsibility for on‑the‑job training and guidance of trainees.
• Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and priorities to meet customer expectations.
• Prepare written instructions and organize and report results of examinations.
• Work independently, support team members, and perform other job‑related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• NDT Level II MT/PT/UTT – documented education, training, and experience; working knowledge of industrial environments and general manufacturing processes; strong communication skills.
• Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Pass a drug screen and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• “U.S. Persons” only requirement due to ITAR access.

Work Conditions

• Wear required safety equipment for personal protection.
• Work at heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man‑baskets, etc.
• Work in confined spaces requiring crawling, stooping, climbing.
• Work around operating equipment and industrial environments.
• Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film‑developing chemicals.
• Shifts up to 12 hours per day, 7 days per week, and may involve extended travel.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
