Responsibilities
The Liquidity Advisor collaborates with Treasury Management, Commercial and Corporate Banking, as Corporate Treasury to optimize liquidity, strengthen deposit stability, and enable strategic balance sheet decisions. Operating as a recognized subject-matter expert, this role engages others in enterprise-wide liquidity strategy, influences pricing and product design decisions, and translates complex analytics into clear executive recommendations. This role advances ONB's priorities around organic growth, exceptional client experiences, primacy, sales excellence, and operational rigor.
They take the lead on deposit relationships and are responsible for generating new deposit business and fees, according to assigned deposit goals, by initiating and developing deposit relationships with businesses, industries, internal partners and others as appropriate. They are responsible for individual portfolio management and client relationship expansion, including partner referrals.
Working across teams, the Liquidity Advisor contributes to strategic initiatives by understanding and executing with pricing, product, and portfolio decisions, while advancing ONB's priorities around organic growth, client experience, and sales effectiveness.
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $51,700/yr - $214,600/yr plus bonus. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate's relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.
Key Accountabilities:
- Sets and aligns strategy for deposit-rich verticals, partnering with segment leaders to set targets, track performance, and drive corrective actions.
- Devises and executes plans to achieve deposit goals and drive optimal net interest income stemming from deposits to the assigned segment and territory. The plans should include a prospect calling strategy and cross-sell strategy depending on the focus.
- Works to achieve assigned personal deposits goals through proactive activities and behaviors that lead to results.
- Aligns client and bank objectives and orchestrates organizational resources and referral partners to build collaborative, client-focused deposit relationships.
- Uses a consultative selling approach to understand client needs and opportunities, including conducting pre-call planning, establishing rapport, interviewing for needs and opportunities, explaining features and benefits, overcoming objections and closing the sale.
- Works jointly with cross-functional team and assist in overall solution development and value proposition.
- Understands the competition capabilities/gaps and how to position Old National.
- Responsible for increasing and/or maintaining client retention probability.
- Develops an understanding and knowledge of internal resources for accurate response to client needs.
- Delivers an excellent client experience and enhance Old National's brand in the marketplace.
- Leverages centers of influence to build a network and create a pipeline of business.
Portfolio Management:
- Manages a portfolio of customers satisfactorily, ensuring the deposit relationships are maintained in a professional manner and monitoring the portfolio to ensure client retention meeting/exceeding ONB standards and expectations.
- Strives to meet or exceed average portfolio target by strengthening existing client deposit relationships and fostering new deposit relationships.
- Communicates recurring or serious product issues to team and recommend viable solutions to improve client experience and retention.
Support for Treasury Management (TM) Product & Client Solutions:
- Provides expert analytical and strategic approaches to TM Sales and TM Product Management to design liquidity products, pricing strategies, and client liquidity structures; set analytical standards and ensure solutions are aligned to ONB's focus on sales excellence, data as an asset, and delivering the entire bank.
- Advises and/or collaborate to provide subject-matter expertise on the bank's counterparty risk profile and liquidity analysis relative to a client's investment policy; support internal governance discussions with well-supported recommendations.
- Develops and quality-review client-specific liquidity analyses for Commercial/Corporate Relationship Managers and deal teams, enabling primacy strategies across Commercial and Corporate banking, and Institutional verticals.
- Reinforces ONB's differentiated client experience by translating liquidity data into compelling, executive-ready insights; influence client decisions and deepen deposit relationships through consultative presentations.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- BS/BA degree in Business/Finance preferred or H.S. diploma/GED with equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of Commercial Banking experience preferred with 3+ years of experience in Treasury, Liquidity Risk, Treasury Management, Funds Transfer Pricing, or other relevant role preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of commercial deposits, pricing, and liquidity behavior, including the ability to interpret macro/market drivers and translate them into portfolio actions.
- Solid knowledge of Commercial-Corporate Banking/TM products within ONB's business model and strategic plan; able to share relevant information across stakeholders while adhering to established policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
