Tax Senior Associate High Net Worth HNW and LLCs

If you are looking for a new role with a medium sized and family operated accounting firm in South FL, specifically the North Miami / Hollywood FL area, then take a look at this role. This is not a grind all day and night kind of place, but one that puts employees first, not micro managing scheduling like some firms. The partners are looking for an tax senior associate , for tax prep and review for a variety of local area businesses. If you have more interest in a tax manager role, this firm has management roles as well, (and at a higher comp plan of course). About the Role: Pay: $95,000- $115,000 (could be more commensurate with experience) Prep and review tax returns for various entities, businesses, high net worth individuals, pass through entities, C-Corps, S-Corps, and Partnerships. Enter this information into a variety of prep software programs like CCH, Pro System, and Ultra Tax Ensure all business tax returns are filed in accordance with Firm guidelines as well as ensuring federal regulations are met Work well with the partners for any tax work needed and assist any junior staff on their prep and review What you will have: BS - BA - equivalent in accounting, finance, stats, business administration or related field CPA eligible, CPA license currently, or in progress is ideal, EA is also a plus. or working to obtain the EA 3-4 years of solid tax prep and review experience in a local accounting environment, Big firm, regional firm, or equivalent firm doing daily tax prep and review work on multiple entities and VIP clients Proficient with various tax software programs, CCH, Ultra Tax, well know Thompson Reuters programs Understanding of tax laws and ability to be in a fast paced tax environment to get work done efficiently Job Details: Full time Hours capped in busy season with a great work life balance Health Insurance plans with employer assistance Tuition reimbursement for CPA licensure, EA courses Flexible work environment Dental 401k #J-18808-Ljbffr Caliber Recruiting Group
