Litigation Associate

Based in Tampa, FL with 15 offices across the country, we are a multi-practice commercial law firm with international affiliates known for its client-focused approach, collaborative culture, and commitment to delivering practical results. The firm is expanding and seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join a growing litigation practice handling sophisticated commercial litigation matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator who values courtroom work, client relationships, and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to commercial litigation matters including contract disputes, business torts, and multi-party litigation
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, memoranda of law, and related litigation documents with accuracy and efficiency
• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, mediations, trials, and other litigation proceedings
• Manage client relations and communications while collaborating with senior attorneys on complex or high-exposure matters

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-approved law school with excellent academic credentials and an active Florida Bar license in good standing
• 3+ years of litigation experience (construction litigation or commercial litigation experience preferred)
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Superior legal research and writing skills with excellent attention to detail and proficiency with document review platforms preferred
