Residential Technician

Exemplary duties/responsibilities:

• Transporting residents to and from other programs and/or scheduled activities, as assigned.
• Ensure that prescribed medication is maintained and made available for the residents. Keep records of the same.
• Supervise meal preparation, cleaning and other household/outside duties as required.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of daily living for residents.
• Provide or make arrangements for social, recreational, religious activities in the community as approved.
• Provide ancillary services to the residents in the community as assigned, such as housing, financial aid, employment, medical, legal, etc.
• Ensure that residence is maintained in keeping with the manager's direction and licensing requirements.
• Provide for the life safety for all residents in the group home.
• Responsible for enforcing all house rules.
• Notify group home manager and designated relative in the event of an emergency.

Qualifications:

Minimum high school diploma or GED required. Mental health experience or experience as a resident worker preferred. Must have a valid TN Driver's License with an "F" endorsement (Georgia residents must have a valid GA Driver's License) unless otherwise restricted from driving. Certification in CPR and First Aid also required.
