Human Resources Generalist| Part-time

Village Behavioral Health (VBH) is seeking a detail-focused Part-Time Human Resources Generalist to support payroll, onboarding, HR compliance, and training coordination. If you’re an experienced HR professional looking for a flexible hybrid role with purpose not just another corporate job this is your opportunity.

What You’ll Do

• Process accurate biweekly payroll


• Review timesheets, mileage, PTO, and resolve discrepancies


• Support onboarding: background checks, I-9s, credential verification


• Maintain employee profiles and PECs in BambooHR


• Coordinate new hire orientation & Relias training assignments


• Maintain HR charts, trackers, and monthly audits


• Track certifications, credentials, and required HR deadlines


• Assist employees with HR questions professionally


• Support internal audits (DMAS, DBHDS, MCOs)

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 2–3+ years HR experience (Generalist, Coordinator, or Assistant)


• Hands-on payroll experience required


• Strong organizational and compliance tracking skills


• Ability to work independently in a hybrid role


• Experience with BambooHR, ADP, Paycom, or similar systems


• Excellent communication and follow-through

Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or human services is a plus.
