Health & Benefits Consultant

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health & Benefits team at Mercer. This role will be based in Portland, OR and is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office. Responsibilities Supporting complex client engagements, including overall service delivery, financial evaluations, plan design, renewal, business placement, benchmarking, and other studies. Developing sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies and driving the creation of tools and solutions to address complex client issues. Effectively communicating Mercer's position on the latest industry trends to clients. Being accountable for revenue/profitability for client accounts and projects. Monitoring the success of projects in terms of scope, budget, timeliness, and client satisfaction. Creating demand for new products/services in the marketplace. Managing and participating in new business opportunities with sales channel partners. Qualifications BA/BS degree. Minimum of 5 years of experience in identifying, designing, recommending, and implementing efficient, innovative business solutions to clients' complex health care benefit plans. Client‑facing experience in a consulting capacity. Renowned expertise and industry reputation in the health & benefits field. What makes you stand out Life and Health License.
