Position's Contributions to Work Group: This position is for a Systems/Quality Validation engineer to support the Minestar Fleet product within the Client Robotics division. The position will work as part of an engineering team which designs, develops, and tests software features on embedded electronic controls and displays for use in Mining vehicle applications.

Job responsibilities may include: Validation of user interface and embedded software solutions; Bug identification and documentation; Bug resolution working with developers to triage and troubleshoot; Estimating and planning effort for test case generation; Manually executing test cases and scripting for test automation; Coordinating with a global team of systems, software, and validation teams.

Typical task breakdown: Daily standup meeting with global team; Execute test plans for new software releases; Develop new test plans for new features and bug resolutions; Identify, debug, and document found issues; Communicate with System engineers and development teams Interaction with team: Communicate within Validation Team, proving ground validation team, and development teams in several locations. Team Structure - Part of a 4 person validation team Work environment: Assignment is in office environment Education & Experience Required: Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field; Minimum 3 years experience; Experience in software validation; Can consider Masters but candidate still should have 3 years exp Top 3 Skills - Software in the loop (SIL) and Hardware in the Loop (HIL) with strong documentation and communication; Python, scripting, test automation; Effective Communication; Teamwork
