Description & Requirements Our Outsourced Family Office Accounting Services team is a trusted partner to ultra-high net‑worth individuals and families navigating complex financial and tax reporting demands. What You Will Do Build and maintain high trust relationships with individuals and families, customizing service offerings to support client needs Coordinate and execute multiple concurrent client projects, managing priorities and timelines Oversee full‑cycle accounting and ensure timely and accurate reporting Support the preparation and review of customized dashboards Deliver virtual and on‑site outsourced advisory services Oversee family office application implementation projects Drive adoption of innovative tools and platforms that streamline workflows and improve client value Partner with leadership on proposals and presentations Facilitate training and professional development for associates and colleagues Mentor and develop high‑performing teams; promote a collaborative, service‑first culture Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related business field 5+ years of experience in public accounting and /or working within the family office industry Strong familiarity with accounting cycles and processes Knowledge of accounting for investments Excellent verbal and written communication skills Precise attention to detail and commitment to quality Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to oversee and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously Strong collaborator with ability to coordinate complex relationships Preferred Qualifications High emotional intelligence and a strong client‑service mindset Experience with Sage Intacct or similar family office reporting platform Strong working knowledge of individual and partnership tax Current and valid CPA license About Forvis Mazars, LLP Forvis Mazars, LLP is an independent member of Forvis Mazars Global, a leading global professional services network. Illinois Wage Transparency In accordance with the Illinois Equal Pay Act, the salary range displayed is for the Illinois market. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Non‑exempt/hourly positions will be eligible for time and half pay for employees that work over 40 hours in a workweek. Benefits are eligibility‑based and could include group health plan benefits, 401(k), bonuses, profit‑sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave.
