The Target Pay Range for this position is $105,000 to $130,000 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.

The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is the servant leader and Agile coach who will facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) events and processes for 6+ Feature Teams, supporting teams to constantly deliver value. This role will also manage a small team of Scrum Masters.

The RTE will lead innovative digital solutions to production. This role will collaborate with scrum masters, product owners, project managers, and business leaders in setting the agile roadmap, driving new innovations, and leading the Agile team to deliver technical capabilities in partnership with the Agile team and other teams within Antech.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-level Agile initiatives using Scale Agile Framework (SAFe)

  • Facilitate and align multiple large development programs which includes internal teams and vendors

  • Ensure proactive communications to leadership and functions within and outside of IT

  • Create metrics and dashboards utilizing Azure DevOps to provide insights into the Program Increment (PI) and Sprint level

  • Coach leaders, functions, and teams in ideal Agile practices and mindset

  • Drive the constant goal of continuous improvement in quality and efficiency

  • Manage risks and dependencies within the projects and programs

Education and Experience

  • B.S. or higher with 7+ years working in software technology.

  • 5+ years working on Enterprise-level applications

  • 5+ years working in project management and/or Scrum Master on projects with a strong emphasis on Agile

  • Working in Pet Health and/or a regulated environment is a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience and knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

  • Proven track record of delivering products in a predictable and timely manner

  • Experience working with multiple teams and ARTs in parallel

  • Creative and enthusiastic for doing what it takes to delight our customers

  • Ability to understand technical requirements

  • Desire to learn the domain and grow in their career

Travel

Will there be notable travel in this position? Yes. Percent of time: 10 %

Working Conditions

The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment including use of cubicles, computers and overhead lighting. Temperature extremes will be minimal to nonexistent. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base management, email, and the Internet. The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system. The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
