Position Summary The University of Illinois College of Medicine/University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System Department of Radiology seeks candidates for an open‑rank faculty position in Pediatric Radiologist to meet the needs of patient care. Duties & Responsibilities Participation in direct patient care Involvement in the formal education of trainees Supervision of residents and medical students Provide radiology services by reading and interpreting pediatric x-ray, ultrasound, CT, etc. imaging in a timely manner Communicate the results and diagnosis to physician Directing radiology staff to perform diagnostic procedures on patients, as per physician orders Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Qualified applicants must have an MD or DO degree and possess a medical license Qualified applicants must also be certified (or eligible if a recent graduate) by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) This position requires successful fellowship training in pediatric radiology or equivalent The university provides accommodations to applicants and employees.
