Head Of Maintenance
Establish work assignments for the maintenance staff, provide direction and guidance, and oversee completion of the tasks. Head of Maintenance is also responsible for performing routine repair work such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, window repair, and carpentry. The following qualifications are preferred for the ideal candidate: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum five years of experience in the maintenance field, preferably in a school setting Driver's license Able to give direction and manage a team Required to properly handle chemical cleaners and supplies following school training and the manufacturer's directions. May be required to work during school holidays, weekends, days, evenings, and overtime during inclement weather as directed by the Director of Operations Salary/Benefits: Work Year: 255 work days Leave: 5 Vacation Days / 14 Sick Days / 2 Personal Days FLSA Status: Non-exempt Retirement: IMRF Benefits: Eligible Salary: B-7 ($38.16 starting rate)
