This position involves providing speech and language therapy at an acute care hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work. The role features a hybrid schedule, primarily during daytime hours, with a focus on adult inpatient care, including cerebrovascular accident (stroke) and dysphagia management. Job Details Location: Apple Valley, California Schedule: Days shift, minimum of 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: California license in hand, BLS certification, CCC-SLP certification, latest LA fire card within the last 30 days, minimum of 3 years of experience working independently in inpatient settings, and experience performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute care hospital environment, familiarity with Epic charting system, prior inpatient or outpatient adult therapy experience. Additional Information: Candidates must have worked at a facility within the last three years, including experience with acute hospital patients. RTO restrictions apply, with a requirement to work 3 of the 5 designated holidays. Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state unless otherwise specified. A local radius within 50 miles is considered local, and candidates must meet all mandatory compliance requirements prior to start.
