Job Title Graduate Assistant- Research | College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Agency Prairie View A&M University Department Adloc Cooperative Agriculture And Research Center Proposed Minimum Salary $3,000.00 monthly Job Location Prairie View, Texas Job Type Graduate Assistant Job Description The Graduate Assistant, under general supervision, will assist the Cooperative Agricultural Research Center by providing assistance with research. This position is grant-funded or supported by restricted funding. Continued employment is contingent upon the renewal of the grant or restricted funding source. Responsibilities: Engage in studying ways to improve food and food safety Assist researcher in interpreting data gathered from characterizations using the necessary equipment Help maintain a healthy living by engaging in the study of plants and extracting plant materials, water, engineering as it applies to agricultural issues Other duties as required Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in an applicable field. Must be enrolled as a full-time graduate student at Prairie View A&M University. (Minimum of 9 credit hours during the regular fall and spring semesters and 6 semester credit hours for the summer semesters). Must be in good academic standing. Job Posting Close Date: Until filled.
