GL Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician / Electrician for a well-established manufacturing facility in Orlando.

This is a hands-on maintenance position responsible for keeping industrial production machinery operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of industrial electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience and be comfortable diagnosing and repairing equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Diagnose equipment failures using testing instruments, visual inspections, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques
• Repair and replace faulty electrical components
• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, pneumatic equipment, and production machinery
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and process sheets
• Calibrate and adjust electrical/electronic equipment
• Dismantle and repair machinery using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and other equipment
• Perform minor programming and maintenance on PLC-controlled equipment
• Follow proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and plant safety procedures
• Assist with general mechanical maintenance and equipment repairs

These responsibilities closely track Steel Construction Systems' actual maintenance requirements, including electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs, PLC work, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
• Strong industrial electrical and mechanical skills
• Experience installing, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components
• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and determine appropriate repairs
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical/mechanical schematics
• Experience with industrial manufacturing equipment
• Experience with CNC machinery, brake presses, and/or roll-forming equipment is highly preferred
• Must be comfortable performing physical work, including standing, walking, climbing, and lifting
• Strong troubleshooting, time-management, and teamwork skills

Steel Con specifically calls for 3–5 years of manufacturing experience with an emphasis on electrical knowledge and prefers experience with CNC machinery, brake presses, and roll-forming equipment.
