Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Physical Therapist Location Bradenton, FL Unit Information Join a therapy staff that services an entire facility, featuring a 28-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) and an acute care hospital with an average census of 240 patients. Number of Staff: 17 Physical Therapists (Full-time and PRN) Patient Ratios: 4 patients/day (IRF), 8-12 patients/day (acute care) Type of Equipment: 2 therapy gyms, Vector, LiteGait, ADL Apartment Job Responsibilities Conduct evaluations and create treatment plans for patients. Deliver therapy treatments and assess patient progress. Participate in team conferences and provide family training. Utilize adaptive devices and specialized equipment as needed. Qualifications Ideal candidates will possess a strong skill set that includes: Must Have: Willingness to work on the IRF unit Critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills Preferred: Hospital/IRF experience Experience with stroke and neuro patients Best Personality Fit We seek individuals who are flexible, collaborative team players.
