Role Description The Service Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based at Ritchey Automotive in Jackson, MS. This role involves greeting customers, understanding their service needs, and clearly communicating recommended maintenance and repairs. The Service Consultant prepares service estimates, coordinates with technicians, updates customers on repair status, and ensures timely completion of work orders. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing appointments, documenting service requests, handling questions and concerns, and supporting a smooth service workflow. The position focuses on delivering high levels of customer satisfaction while maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies and safety standards. Qualifications Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships. Effective interpersonal capabilities, such as Communication and Consulting skills, to explain services, options, and technical information in clear, accessible language. Solid Analytical Skills to review service needs, interpret vehicle information, and support accurate estimates and recommendations. Experience in automotive service, dealership, or related industry is preferred. Ability to work on-site full time, manage multiple tasks, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with basic computer systems and service management software is beneficial.
