Lead Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities • Assist the Pharmacist In Charge with daily functions• Supervise Floor Technicians to ensure productivity standards are met• Allocate staffing resources based on current workflow• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications in a timely manner• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications• Package fill and ship medications• Prepare compound & IV medication• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies• Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.• Complete any other task assigned by the Pharmacist In Charge Qualifications Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Texas required Previous pharmacy experience preferred Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned Good organizational skills and detail oriented Ability to physically perform light lifting Knowledge of brand name and generic medications Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, PLUS · Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Retirement plan Paid time off Employee Assistance Program EEO Statement, SpecialtyRx, Inc. is fully committed to employing a diverse workforce.
