Deployment, Fielding, Sustainment Readiness Lead Location: Tewksbury, MA or Huntsville, AL. Role Type: Onsite Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship required. Must obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. government‑issued clearance. Responsibilities Drive performance to cost and schedule targets Maintain open and frequent communication with other program and functional leads Generate and lead proposal inputs on all relevant scope Resolve cost, scope, and schedule issues Establish and drive roadmaps for sustainment activities Balance alignment between program and product roadmap objectives Support the Risk & Opportunity process Interact with the customer; develop and deliver advanced, system‑specific training Support PMO for customer meetings and presenting to customers Travel domestically and internationally as needed Support Integrated Product Team and Program Managers in staffing, developing key personnel, and building plans that support LCE and LADS business models Support LCE Director and Engineering VP by complying with internal policies and procedures, developing tracking books, estimate at completions (EACs), and supporting the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Qualifications Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering, program, or project management experience Experience with budget or financial management Leadership experience Experience using program management tools such as EVMS or similar Experience with Risk/Opportunity Management tools and processes Lead long‑range planning to capitalize on future opportunities Ability to manage a variety of tasks, requirements, and commitments and interface successfully with numerous disciplines Ability to overcome obstacles and negotiate change Demonstrated comprehensive planning skills with the ability to analyze technical and financial data and reports Exceptional judgment and decision‑making Experience as an IPT/CPT Lead Experience with Engineering PMER, SBT and Team Strength tools Strong verbal and written communication skills Benefits Relocation assistance is available Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays Potential short‑term and long‑term incentive compensation programs (dependent on level and collective‑bargaining agreement) Annual pay range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD Equal Opportunity Employer RTX is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
