Locums Position in NM for General Surgeon

• 168-hour call shifts -- Friday 7 am to Thursday 7 am
• 1 - 5 patients per shift; 1 - 15 phone consults per shift
• ER and inpatient call coverage -- no outpatient clinic
• Call response time required: under 30 minutes
• Adult and pediatric populations -- neonates not required
• Laparoscopic surgery, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty required
• GI endoscopy, chest tube, central line, vascular access required
• Pediatric procedures -- hernias, biliary atresia, PDA ligation required
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
• We simplify the credentialing and privileging process
• Access to online portal for assignment details and time entry
