Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/25/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Labor and Delivery Nurse – Ohio Start Date: September 25, 2026 Location: Ohio Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Highlights: Comprehensive Labor and Delivery experience including labor/induction patients, circulating role in OB-OR, and antepartum assignments Night shift schedule providing work-life balance with consistent 12-hour shifts EPIC Stork experience preferred but not required ECG rhythm recognition and Safe Medicate assessments completed during orientation Contract extension opportunities available for up to 18 months Comprehensive orientation program with specialized training modules Requirements: Minimum 18 months of permanent Labor and Delivery experience required Minimum 18 months of recent Labor and Delivery experience as home unit Active Ohio state nursing license or compact state license (must be in hand at time of application) Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE (all must be active and in hand at time of submission) One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director from the past 12 months (co-worker references will not be accepted) COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered) Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate assessment during orientation BCI/FBI background check clearance (no open cases) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This Labor and Delivery position offers experienced nurses the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with comprehensive training and professional development opportunities.
