ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you an energetic and proactive project manager, with successful experience in managing complex industrial projects? Do you thrive in an environment where you can make a difference? In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing specific construction projects on time and within budget. You will need to effectively work with the team to deal with schedule changes and work collaboratively to solve problems to keep jobs on track. You should be able to make decisions independently to address issues, solve problems, and effectively manage costs for the portfolio of projects. In this role, you will be required to spend an appropriate amount of time on job sites to manage the job and address issues. Your input and feedback will be invaluable on how to best solve challenges in completing projects on time and under budget.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

Ensure all corporate safety and management policies are adhered to and promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. Engage and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Manage industrial construction, renovation, and expansion projects from concept to start-up on time, within budget, and with zero harm. Lead the feasibility concepts and provide technical expertise relating to cost and schedule estimations relating to funding requests and business cases. Overall responsibility with the planning, execution, and control of each project in particular with regard to: Project objectives, schedule, and budget. Project engineering, construction, and administration. Project Quality Assurance/Quality Control. Project resources (internal and external). Project communication to internal teams and company leadership. Early identification and communication of project risks. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor's degree Additional Education Preferred: Masters degree Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or related science and technical discipline, as well as Project Management. Required Work Experience: 7-10 years with projects of +$5M in process industries. Required Training/Certifications: PMP certification is a plus. Required Computer and Software Skills: Microsoft Office, Project Management software, Smartsheet, SAP, and AutoCAD. Travel Requirements: up to 30%. Additional Requirements: Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
